Since more than 150 years, our response to mission is reflected through tangible engagements:
Primary Evangelization: It is the announcing of the Gospel to those who have not heard about it, in particular the poor and the most abandoned. It explains our fidelity to our founder’s charism.
Justice, peace and creation integration: In Africa, we make sure to respond to questions of justice and peace, primarily in engaging with street children, ex-children soldiers, refugees, war displace people and people who are living with HIV.
We devote special attention to the promotion of human dignity through education and health. Outside of Africa, we are engage in pastoral activities with immigrants, people without residence documents and work toward a better sharing of the world resources.
Ecumenical and interreligious dialogue: The SMA initiates promotion of dialogue and collaboration with traditional African religions and other believers. It at search of a better understanding of Islam and evangelical churches in view of working together at the service of all.
